The Quantum Universe: How Things Work That We Can’t See

There’s a world that operates according to entirely different laws, completely different from ours. You can be both alive and dead at the same time. You can be a wave or a particle. You can travel at the speed of light and be teleported, like in a sci-fi show. Of course, all of this is real for you if you are an incredibly small particle, a quantum particle.
Sounds impossible? In the world of quantum physics, anything is possible.

Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw’s book is a good meditation on the quantum world, which is impossible to understand with ordinary thinking or imagine in familiar terms. Therefore, the authors use rather interesting analogies that will help you understand and study the microworld so easily and simply that, after reading the last page and closing the book, you’ll say to yourself, «I get it!»
