Exactly one year ago, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the flamboyant Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 electric coupe, and now it’s expanding its lineup with the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet. The open-top version of the 5.7-meter electric car was unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in the United States.

Instead of a fixed hardtop, the convertible received a beige fabric top, the body color was changed from red to dark blue, and (unfortunately) the gull-wing doors were replaced with classic hinged doors. The interior, however, remains unchanged, featuring the same premium design with leather and rose gold trim, complemented by a full-width dashboard display and head-up displays projecting information onto the windshield.

The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is powered by four electric motors with a combined output of 750 hp, accelerating the car to 100 km/h in under four seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The flat battery pack, integrated into the car’s floor, has a capacity of 80 kWh. The range on a full charge is 500 km, and a 100 km charge can be replenished in just 5 minutes using the company’s fast charger.
