The creators of Stranger Things are already working on a third season

In a recent interview, brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, creators of the series Stranger Things, stated that they are already working on a third season and expect to finally conclude the story in the fourth season. Interestingly, Netflix executives have not yet greenlit a fourth season, so the creators’ statement could be seen as a form of pressure on management.

The Duffer brothers noted that the second season of Stranger Things, which premieres on October 27, will be more like a sequel to a full-length film than a regular TV series (whatever that means).
